Run United 2013

This year, my son and I are going to join RUN UNITED 2013 on March 17, 2013 at the Mall of Asia. This is exciting because it will our first out-of-town run. It is a bonding moment for us. I have already booked us a flight to Manila on March. I hope everything will be according to plan.

It’s Half Time

5 Sundays, 5 Mondays, 5 Tuesdays, and 1 Friday the 13th

 

Time flies.

What a cliché.

Still it is true specially when one is busy or having fun.

The first half of the year is finished.

There is nothing we can do about it now.

What happens to the second half is still on our hands though.

We can either waste it or make the most out of it.

I’m doing the latter.

I will treat July 1 like a new year.

From this day on, I will do my best to make everyday count.

No more procrastination. No more lazy time. No more wasting time.

I wish everyone the best for the remaining 182 days of the year.

Today is my 14,235th day on this earth.

I hoped that in most of those days, I have been good to my kids, my family, relatives, friends and other people who are or we’re part of my life.

I am very thankful that I have been blessed in ways that I cannot express.

Thankful for the good health. Thankful for the material things. Thankful for the wisdom. Thankful for a lot of things that I cannot ask for more.

Tomorrow I will be starting my last year of my 30sh years. I hope I will live it to the fullest.

I wonder how many more days are there before I finally become obsolete and fade to dust.

Oh, I hope it will be more than I could expect it to be.

To everyone who greeted me via Facebook, Email Twittter and SMS, thank you very very much for remembering. God bless you all.

“Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish” (Rest in Peace Steve Jobs)

Today when I woke up, I didn’t feel like opening my computer or cellphone to check my social media sites. Instead I watched AXN’s CSI NY while having a leisurely breakfast when my Ipad chimed. It was a breaking news from CNN. “Steve Jobs, Apple founder, dies”. I immediately went online to check on it. I conveniently clicked on the link on my Ipad and there it was. CNN’s story of Steve’s death. After breakfast I switched to my Macbook Pro still to check on this trending topic. All my social media sites had the same topic. It is a sad day for the tech world.
