Chances of winning is 1 in 29 million
Yes, those are the winning combinations for the Philippine’s biggest lotto prize in history. The lone winner if from the SBMA in Olongapo City. The take home pay is P741,176,323.20. Geez, just imagine what you could do with all that money. I have already fantasized about how to spend it. The problem is, i’m not a die hard lotto bettor. Although I placed a bet for this prize twice, I did not win it. I was not able to bet yesterday when someone else got very lucky. Oh well, as they always say, there is a time and place for everything. Maybe it’s not yet my time to win and Gensan may not yet be the place to win it. But if I do win. . . I won’t blog it here. Hahaha.
More of the details here.

Today is a sad day for me and the rest of my family. Our family pet an

Gone are the days when we used to carry those floppy disks that contains our precious computer data.
When I was still in college, it was a requirement for our computer class to buy a 5 1/4 disk. Then when I was already working, the 3 1/2 inch floppy was the standard. It can store a few MB of data which at that time seemed to be a lot.
Then being the techie guy that I am, I was first to use a flash drive when everyone else in our company was still using a floppy disk. I remember buying my first flash drive for 3k+ pesos. Flash disks are expensive when they first came out. How much storage does it hold? A whopping 64 mb. . . yup 64 megabytes. Of course at that time 64mb was huge. It could store more than 20 times the capacity of a floppy disk. I still have it with me for keepsake.
Wow. . 64Mb of flash storage. . . Amazing
The Rainbow Warrior at Gensan port
Yesterday my kids and I together with the Sox Bloggers went on board Greenpeace’s ship called the Rainbow Warrior. Sir Avel , the leader of the group arranged the field trip with people at Greenpeace. According to Miss Leah Guerrero, Greenpeace’s Regional Communications Manager in Southeast Asia, this is their first ever open boat day in Mindanao. We were very lucky indeed to be invited on board the ship. Leah personally took care of us, the Soccsksargen bloggers. She fetched us from our meeting point, provided the transportation going to the port and back and she even bought us snacks. She was our tour guide on board the ship with the help of Amrit, an Indian national who happens to be a blogger. Read More

The most common choice that have been around for some time are the plug-in internet. Read More
This post is inspired by a magazine that features the content of a celebrity’s bag. I’m not a celebrity but hey, whose to stop me from feeling as one. . Hahaha
I use this particular bag because everything fits in it. It’s actually a give away gimmick from my counterpart. It’s supposed to be a doctor’s bag but I have been using as my “Man Bag” for years now. I tried to replaced this bag a couple of times. I even bought a Samsonite clutch bag but I always go back to using this one. You can already see a tear near the zipper because of the heavy load that it bears. Read More
What thing do I always bring with me wherever I go? Well, aside from the obvious bare essentials like my wallets and cellphones, this thing is the 3rd most important thing that I always bring with me. Unless I board an airplane, it stays in my pocket or sometimes in its holster. It is my Swiss Pocket Knife. Today I bought a new one. It took me a few months to find the right model that I needed. It’s the Victorinox Swiss Army Explorer Pocket Knife. Read More
